So we get there 6/26 but it doesn’t open until 6/24 so we don’t get the 7 day window?? We are staying deluxe!

We are going to DisneyW for ONE day with a park hopper ticket, we are staying at the Boardwalk so can I buy an individiual LL ticket for both Tron and GOTG for that one day (two parks)? I know you can only buy two individual LL in one day so these are the ones we would choose. Thx!

Thanks for the video, it explains it well. That being said, I am sick of paying extra on top of my pay one price to get reasonable access to these rides. If they are going to continue to pull this garbage, they should go back to E tickets and such. Universal started the garbage and Disney doubled down. With Epic Universe coming online in less than a year, I may drop my Annual passes for 2025 and jump over there. I will NEVER pay a premium on to of my pass price at either park. There is competition here in Orlando and Disney is no longer the only Premium experience in town. It would be wise to stop this practice to attract people to Disney when Epic opens up. Otherwise at least initially Disney may wind up being #2

Sounds like they may eventually go to an electronic version of the old ticket booklet...... The popular rides would be the "E" ticket rides and be more expensive and limited

Besides the fiasco that involves international guests, I think the biggest complaint I have heard is that it hinders stacking for those who like to sleep in. Personally, I think the pre-booking aspect gives most complainers of the G+ system what they wanted. As someone who just went two months ago, the only complaint I had was that I had to wake up before 7 every day. This definitely is better!

The purples and pinks and overall lighting effects are going to make this sooo busy at night

You folks are my GO TO when learning about 'Skip the Line' systems (w/e they are called at that time). Thanks for doing the hard work! I think honestly, if people spent a minute googling and finding your videos they wouldn't have complained so much to Disney about how hard Genie plus was and we'd still have it, but that's just my two cents. I am supremely bummed about losing the two hour window. I loved utilizing a great rope drop strategy in the morning, breaking for lunch and stacking LLs for my afternoon. I feel like this new plan forces you to cut your rope drop strat short just so you can 'kill a lane' that you already paid for and book another. So that's pretty disappointing for those of us who enjoyed the thrill of stacking and getting almost every ride in the park. I'm also disappointed about the 3 day vs 7 day windows. When Fast Pass plus was a thing, I didn't stay at the resorts and had such a terrible time booking rides. I just had no shot at the ones I wanted. I anticipate this will be the same. I really doubt I'll get something good like Slinky Dog Dash in my booking. Wondering if you all can speak to the rumors that Canadians cannot pre-book until they land in Florida? Like am I really going to have to fly in three days in advance to use this feature at all? THANKS SO MUCH!

I was just at Disneyland recently and we bought Genie + because my disabled sister lost her DAS. We all loathed it. Big waste of money. I won’t be renewing my Magic Key. Disney is only for the very rich now, not local residents like me and my family. Fingers crossed my sister pulls the trigger on switching to Knotts next year. Thanks for the info so we won’t be tricked if they bring this stupidity to California.

This is rediculous. All this extra planning takes away the fun of the vacation. Terribie Disney. I used to go every year. No more.

As an international guest staying on property, it seems I will not be able to make ride reservations until the day I arrive in the US which will be Day 1 of my reservation. So it will be Day 1 before I can make a reservations. I would love for this to change so that I can book rides 7 days out from Day 1. If you we’ve news on this, please provide an update via your channel. We travel in May 2025 from Australia but will be England before our trip to WDW.

Thank you so much for making this content, for people from other countries who have to worry about exchange rates and can't necessarily spring for anything that would give them an "advantage" when it comes to rides and wait times this is life saving

Oh boy here we go again!

This is BEYOND insanity in it's complexity! Totally ludicrous! I guess Disney is NOT for 'regular' visitors to just go and enjoy the park. You have to be a rocket scientist and expert on all these apps(not just one but THREE no less!!!) and spend your whole time working on your phone to do anything. Sounds like a whole lotta work and STRESS!! AND Disney charges you an arm and a leg to boot. A person would have to be insane to pay a fortune and go through this; not FUN in my book.

Do we know yet if international guests can pre book before they arrive in USA?

Good video. I think this is going to make things worse. Disney is failing to address the primary issue (too many guests and too few of the prime attractions). Any way you slice and dice it supply and demand is supply and demand. All Disney is doing is working harder to skew the experience better for those who pay more (excluding pass holders)

Does this apply to Disneyland California as well?

if we as european book for 2 weeks (in earlier days we could book 3 weeks, sniff), do you still have to buy a pass? or would you get only a LL multi/single pass at the end of your stay, if you couldnt get on it? After years and years at disney, we decided not to go anymore, because of all the changes.... Universal studios, is where we went now 360 dollar for 2 weeks, no expresspas needed.

Just want to clarify... $180 to get into the park, then $15 per ride to ensure you can get onto a ride... And you can book three rides at a time. Is that right? And then there's restrictions as to what rides you can book, and you'll need to pay extra for a "Park Hopper" ticket... Is that right?

Love the rescue rangers ears! Your videos are lifesaving for a Disney vacation. Definitely feels like Disney is now using the system to fill the hotels. The howls from the AP crowd will be loud.

You love it? Let’s see what Disney actually did: 1. If you’re an international visitor, you’re completely hosed. You can only book once you arrive in Florida. 2. They screwed anyone staying at the majority of official Disney “Good Neighbor” hotels. 3. If I book a 3 day stay and someone else booked a 10 day stay, those people get a 1 week head start on booking Lightning Lanes. That means that by the time my booking window opens EVERY LIGHTNING LANE MAY ALREADY BE BOOKED FOR MY ENTIRE STAY BEFORE I EVEN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BOOK ONE! I might not be able to book a single attraction! Bottom line: Disney effectively just raised ticket prices by more than 20% and convinced you to be happy about it. Unbelievable.

I am so glad you brought up the split stay. I have a 1st week of December trip split between 2 Disney resorts and I’m quite curious how that will play out for us. Also will it make a difference if my split stay was booked as two packages with first hotel having park tickets linked and second the hotel only?

I met you on the day you filmed this! We were with our large family of 12. Had I known you were filming about a large group again I might have asked you a lot questions about genie (good thing I didn’t know 😂) instead of asking how you keep you ears from giving you a headache! PS- we had pretty good luck for our group of 12, but some of the evenings we lost a chunk of them to the resort making our party smaller.
